About this website
This website is an online showcase of our manufacturing capability and product range. It is not an online shop — no prices are charged and no payment is taken through this site. All commercial terms are agreed separately in writing.
Products and images
Every piece we make is handcrafted from solid or reclaimed timber. Grain, colour and finish vary naturally from piece to piece, and photographs on this site are indicative rather than exact. Dimensions are nominal and may vary within normal manufacturing tolerance. We reserve the right to change designs, materials and specifications without notice.
Enquiries and quotations
An enquiry submitted through this website is a request for information, not an order. A binding contract is formed only when we issue a written proforma invoice or sales confirmation and you accept it. Quotations are valid for the period stated on them, and are subject to material availability and prevailing freight rates.
Orders, production and lead times
- Orders are made to order; production begins after order confirmation and receipt of the agreed advance.
- Indicative lead time is 45–60 days from confirmation to port, and may vary with order size and season.
- Custom designs, sizes and finishes are available and are quoted separately.
Shipping and export
Goods are supplied on the Incoterms stated in the sales confirmation (typically FOB or CIF). Risk passes in accordance with those terms. Delivery dates are estimates given in good faith; we are not liable for delays caused by shipping lines, port congestion, customs procedures or other events outside our control. Import duties, taxes and customs clearance in the destination country are the buyer's responsibility.
Quality and claims
Every piece is inspected before packing. Any claim for damage or shortage must be raised in writing within seven days of receipt, supported by photographs and packing details. Natural variation in timber, and normal movement of solid wood with humidity, are not defects.
Intellectual property
All designs, photographs, text and the Leela Export House name and logo on this website belong to us and may not be copied, reproduced or used commercially without our written permission. Where we manufacture to a customer's own design (OEM/ODM), that design remains the customer's property.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Otherwise, our liability in connection with any order is limited to the invoice value of the goods concerned, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss such as loss of profit or business.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Jodhpur, Rajasthan shall have jurisdiction over any dispute.
